DEPARTURES
FROM SKAMANIA LODGE TO PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PDX)
Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft aren't available at Skamania Lodge, our conference venue. We have two options for folks who are returning to PDX:
Take a Shuttle (Saturday returns only): If you plan to use a shuttle on Saturday, May 3, please add it to your schedule in the conference app. This helps us ensure everyone has a seat or assists us in coordinating an alternative if the shuttle is fully booked.
Shuttle buses will depart Skamania Lodge hourly on Saturday, starting at 6:30am. The last shuttle will depart at 11:30am (PT).
Shuttles will station in front of the hotel lobby. Look for a black bus with the WDN logo in the window.
Schedule a Taxi: You can arrange a taxi through the front desk. Fares from Skamania Lodge to PDX usually range from $100 to $180.
ARRIVALS
FROM PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PDX) TO SKAMANIA LODGE
We know our shuttle schedule may not align with everyone's arrival time. To support those arriving outside of shuttle hours, we've created a simple Google Sheet for attendees flying into PDX who'd like to coordinate a shared ride with others.
Whether you’re traveling as a group or solo, getting to Skamania Lodge is easy by car. Along the 45-minute ride you’ll see gorge waterfalls dotting the basalt cliffs.
Take Uber or Lyft: If you’re using ride share, make sure to type “Skamania Lodge” (not just Skamania) as your destination. There are multiple locations called Skamania in the area – double check that you’re headed to the right one! Get directions to the Uber pickup zone.
IMPORTANT: Ubers and Lyfts are not available at Skamania Lodge. To return to PDX, you’ll need to take one of our shuttles or schedule a taxi with the front desk (prices range from $100 - $180 from Skamania Lodge to PDX).
Rent a car: Several car rental agencies operate out of PDX. Onsite self-parking at Skamania Lodge is included in your amenity fee.
Ride Share & CAR RENTALs
We organized complimentary shuttle buses to make your travel as convenient as possible. No advance registration needed! Just arrive at the designated pickup zone at the scheduled time. Each shuttle trip has a seating capacity of 27 passengers. In the unlikely event that a shuttle reaches its limit, seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so to be safe, arrive a few minutes early.
Tuesday, April 29: Shuttles will depart PDX at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm (PT).
Wednesday, April 30: Shuttles will depart PDX at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm (PT).
